Using the Screenshot feature on Mac, you can capture the entire screen, window, or part of the screen.

Step 1: To take a screenshot, press and hold these three keys: Shift, Command, and 3.

Step 2: To edit a screenshot, click on a thumbnail in the corner of your screen.

Step 1: Press and hold these three keys simultaneously: Shift, Command, and 4.

Step 2: Drag the crosshairs to select the area of the screen to capture. You can cancel taking a screenshot by pressing the Esc (Escape) key.

Step 1: Open the window/menu you want to capture. follow the next step.

Step 2: Press and hold the "Shift, Command, 4" keys together and the space bar. The pointer changes to a camera icon. You can cancel it by pressing the Escape key.

Step 3: Click the window or menu to capture it. To remove window key shadows from a screenshot, hold down the Option key while clicking.

Screenshots are saved to your desktop as "Screen Shot [Date] [Time].png" Screen Shot [Date]. You can also change the default location of saved screenshots.
