The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 were launched globally this week at the company’s Unpacked event. To encourage users to buy the new foldable device, Samsung is reportedly slashing repair costs significantly this year under its Samsung Care+ subscription plan. Eligible customers can replace the damaged screen of the new foldable phone by paying $29.
The cost of repairing the new Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 now starts at $29 to fix a broken screen. According to the Samsung support page, the price of Samsung Care+ screen repair without warranty is up to $480.
Samsung’s foldable phones come with one-year accidental damage protection from Samsung Care+. As mentioned, it covers devices from accidental damage, including screen replacement, water damage, and back cover replacement. However, after the warranty period, users will have to pay the full cost to replace the foldable screen.
