The Google Pixel Watch, unveiled during the I/O 2022 event in May, runs on the Wear OS platform and comes with Fitbit integration for tracking various physical activities. The Google Pixel Watch will be available in the US early this fall and ahead of launch. A recent APK teardown of the Fitbit app points to new in-app text related to the evening charge reminder, which shows the estimated battery life of the smartwatch.
Reports suggest that the smartwatch can deliver a battery life of around 24 hours. The Fitbit app recommends charging the device at least 30 percent before bed to ensure efficient sleep tracking.
The estimated battery life of the Google Pixel Watch was suggested by 9to5Google via an APK teardown while checking the latest v3.65 of the Fitbit app. The APK teardown of the app includes new in-app text related to the evening charge reminder for the Google Pixel Watch. When this upcoming toggle is enabled, Fitbit will send a notification to remind users to charge their smartwatch.
The Google Pixel Watch will run the latest version of OS and will feature a circular display with minimal bezels, curved glass protection and a stainless-steel build. It will also offer heart rate tracking and sleep monitoring. The Pixel Watch will work alongside the Find My Device app to help users locate their lost Pixel phones, earbuds, etc.
The smartwatch can be used as a remote for compatible smart home devices using the Home app. It also supports Google Assistant, Google Maps, and Google Wallet.
